So, you want to write for Men’s Fitness?
Men’s Fitness is Australia’s premier health and fitness magazine for Australian men. Every month we print great articles on exercise, health, nutrition, training and sport. Monthly, we show you how to take care of your most valuable asset: your body. Plus you’ll find lots of entertaining reading on cars, movies, apps, adventure and travel, plus lots of advice on women and sex. It’s a one-stop shop for blokes who want to make their life better. It takes a lot of people to make the magazine each month, including freelance writers, photographers and designers.
So, you want to be on the cover?
Good for you. You’ve obviously worked hard for a great body and want to show it off. The good news is Men’s Fitness does feature fitness models on the cover. Here’s what you do. Send a couple of low-res JPEGs to the editor: firstname.lastname@example.org. Attach a brief bio about your training, history, etc. Then wait for at least a month for a response. We will get back to you.
I’ve just subscribed, when do I get my first issue?
That depends on when you subscribed. Generally, you’ll get your first subscription issue after the issue that’s on the newsstands when you subscribed. Because it’s a monthly magazine, you should get you first issue within 4 weeks. If you don’t, email our subscription department with your details (email@example.com) or call on 02 9439 1955 in business hours (9am to 5pm EST) and they will sort it out.
I’ve lost a lot of weight and want to send photos to your “Inspirations” section!
Best contact is Ashley, who looks after that page. His email is firstname.lastname@example.org. You should send him a brief outline of how much weight you’ve lost, how you lost it and a couple of low-res before and after images. He’ll get back to you within a week or two.
How many issues do I have left?
In the flysheet of the last issue you received, in the top left, it specifies how many issues you have remaining. If in doubt, just drop an email to email@example.com or call on 02 94391955 in business hours (9am to 5pm EST) and they will sort it out.
My subscription hasn’t arrived!
If you’re a subscriber, you should get your copy a few days before it goes on sale in the newsagent. If you see the new edition in the newsstand, but you haven’t got yours by mail, there could be a problem. You can email our subs department firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 02 94391955 in business hours (9am to 5pm EST) and they will sort it out. (Note: Sometimes the mail takes five working days to get to subscribers in Western Australia.)
